Workshops

  • I have been invited to tutor a week long workshop at Domain De Boisbuchet, held in Lessac France.

    The name/theme of my workshop:
    illuminating the woods

The woods are deep and dark at night and the magic of nature whispers around the old trees – a dark fairyland that Rona Meyuchas- Koblenz and the participants will bring light to. The woods have their own natural resources to produce light, including fungus and fireflies; This workshop will intend to help illuminate the woods; observe, listen and learn how it feels to be surrounded by this incredible nature. Participants will create sustainable lanterns that will operate on wind and solar power thus using fascinating Cork as the main material.

  • Organised by Shenkar college and the Design terminal Bat-yam foundation.

I was invited to lead 5days workshop at the Design terminal Bat-yam between Shenkar students, mixed design and engineering dept. and mental health patients from Abarbanel and Geah, mental health hospitals.

The workshop held in 2018 as a pilot to a future planned rehabilitation plant (opened the following year) where mental health patients could make and sell small objects made from cork in order to help them integrate in the society. The objects made by them are sold and the income goes to their wellbeing.

  • in 2019, I was invited to contribute in Cathedral thinking workshop held by Anne Beate Hovind, chair of the Future Liberary foundation in Oslo.
The day long workshop took place at the Aga Khan centre in London and as part of the London Festival Architecture.
Organized by the Museum of Architecture London and Melodie Leung, Associate Director at Zaha Hadid Architects office.
The second workshop, ‘Time’ was held on zoom during the pandemic

  • Since 2020 I am tutoring ‘Filters’ workshop at the museum for kids 10-17yrs.
In the workshop I teach them to create their own filters from tangible objects and from nature. By using their phones camera they can use their own self made filters as oppose of the obvious built in app filters and snap a photo through it.
The whole experience encourages the students to observe and perceive.
in summer 2022, I am starting to tutor a new workshop ‘The totem - me’
